In developing the new FR-D700 frequency inverter the attention was set to the simple and safe operability, compact design as well as improving performance. It was created a drive that sets new standards in the field of compact drives.
Improved functions and device properties such e. g. the simplified cabling thanks to spring clamps, the integrated “Digital Dial” with LED display, the improved performance yield in the low-speed range as well as the integrated emergency stop function making the FR-D700 the new standard in the ultra-compact class.
The FR-D700 is especially advantageous for standard applications by its ease of use. It is the right choice in both simple and more demanding applications. Typical applications are feeder and conveyor drives, machining tools or gate and door drives.
Fail-safe through self-diagnosis
This inverter actively monitors its own functional safety. For example, a decrease of fan speed to 50% outputs a pre-alarm. An internal measuring program monitors the aging of the capacitors and an operating hours counter enables the operator to plan the best time for servicing. Protection and overload functions like the phase failure detection for the input and output circuits ensure trouble-free operation.
Additional energy saving
Die Energieeinsparung durch den generellen Einsatz von Frequenzumrichtern wird durch die OEC-Funktion des FR-D700 weiter ausgebaut. Die Strom- und Leistungsaufnahme des Motors wird so optimiert. Dies hat eine weitere Absenkung des Energiebedarfs zur Folge.
The energy saving by the general use of frequency converters is extended by the OEC function of the FR-D700. The current and power consumption of the motor is optimized. This results in a further reduction of the energy required.
Extended lifetime
The FR-D700 is designed for more than 10 years to serve. This is achieved, among others, by temperature-resistant high-performance capacitors, cooling fans with sealed bearings and special grease. In cooling only the heatsink and not electronic components are ventilated. This ensures that no dust or dirt can settle on the components. The single or double painted circuit boards are protected against aggressive environments and thus have a higher life expectancy.
